Well, the race season is now more than under way, and so far we've had some great successes. Poor Lucy is waiting for the result of the MRI on her wrist so has been out of action for a while, but we've been well-represented at both the Southern XC and MSG Eastern Series by Will, Katie and Eddy. This weekend it was Round 3 of the MSG Eastern Series at LeeValley Velopark - the man-made MTB trails that snake round the 'Pringle' velodrome. They're surprisingly technical, so actually worth a look if you fancy a day out over there! Katie fought hard against girls right at the top of the age category in the U12s to finish 5th, and Eddy rode strongly into 25th in the same race. Well done both!
If you don't fancy giving XC racing a go, how about entry-level downhill MTB racing at the FlyUp 417 Bike Park between Oxford and Gloucester on 28th April. This is Go-Ride racing, for those new to DH and will be run on the blue course.
